Last week, whilst listening to the Beep Beep Boop Boop show on local radio station KDHX (88.1MHz FM), I heard a song that I just had to find.  It took me a few searches to track down, but at last I found BC and the song Dreamspace on his album Time Pieces Part 1.  From BC’s website, the album is described thus:

Combining complex metaphor, time travel, scintillating lyrical gymnastics, anime, radical politics, and an apocryphal-dystopian comic book aesthetic, Red Tide member and Florida MC, BC, the Black Child, delivers his solo debut, the first of a three part conceptual album, "Time Pieces."

In my opinion the description is a fair one.  In fact I was somewhat reminded of another group that I love to listen to because of their intelligent prose, Psyche Origami.  If you’re into hip hop, or just enjoy clever lyrics, you should check this guy out.
